Nightwave — last updated June 2026

What we collect

Nightwave is a listen-only internet radio. We keep things minimal:

  • Listener counts — we count how many people are connected to each channel. This is an anonymous number; we do not track who is listening.
  • Song likes — pressing the ♥ button increases an anonymous counter for the current song. No account or personal data is involved.
  • Technical logs — like almost every website, the server temporarily processes your IP address to deliver the stream and to protect the admin login against abuse. These are not used to profile listeners.

Cookies and local storage

  • Your channel choice, volume and quality preference are saved in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device.
  • A session cookie is used only for the station administrator's login. Regular listeners do not receive it.
  • Advertising cookies — if advertising by Google AdSense is enabled, Google may set cookies to show and measure ads. We only load Google's advertising scripts after you accept this in the consent banner. You can learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Your choices

  • You can decline advertising cookies in the consent banner; the radio works the same.
  • You can clear your browser's storage at any time to remove saved preferences.
